Our Mission:
"To build bridges of communications through new media training and education, and the development of programs aimed at empowering and enlightening communities."

The Media Aid Center is the union of media professionals, educators, and community servants. We are dedicated to providing the education and developing the infrastructure our community needs to communicate in the "Digital Age".

The Media Aid Center provides during and afterschool digital media production courses for five high schools in South Los Angeles supporting large underserved and disadvantaged communities. Two centers based at Jordan H.S. in Watts and Fremont H.S. train 350 students daily, and support a population of over 7,000 low-income students. The center supplies field trips, volunteers, and studio facility to support community engagement and youth envolvement activities.
