Launched by the University of Baltimore in 2003, CCTS’ mission is to help nonprofits use technology to improve services, increase productivity, and manage resources more effectively—all at an affordable cost. We exist because over 90% of the region’s 2,000 small- and medium-sized nonprofits do not have the internal staff expertise to make cost-effective, strategic, and organizationally appropriate decisions about buying, deploying, and sustaining IT systems.
CCTS provides guidance and coaching in strategic technology planning, and creates influential websites that support fundraising, build communities, and promote an organization’s mission, services, and achievements. We develop innovative software that collects and organizes data, streamlines operations, drives programs, and expands audience interactions. We work with board members and tech teams to jump-start technology initiatives and develop buy-in. We also help launch community-focused technology projects, including learning centers, computer labs, and neighborhood information surveys.
